Mr Ideal Nigeria introduces New judging format

The Mr Ideal Nigeria committee has confirmed that there are changes in the selection format of this year’s Mr Ideal Nigeria.
The pageant Director ( Creative) Emmanuel Momoh, through a press statement confirmed unlike in the past years that the first cut was a top 20, it will become top 16 for this edition
Four from three judging criteria in boot camp; CLEAR CUTs, WILD CARDs and FAST TRACK events will determine the 12 from the selection committee on who will make the top 16. The FANVOTE of 4 through several social media platforms and also a newly introduced live voting at the event determines the final 4 to join the top 16.
After the beach wear and suit round , the top 16 will be announced. The top 16 will go straight to an opening statement, which means a 30-second statement of what they want the audience to know about them, and based on this statement, judges will cut down to 6.
The top 6 will then compete in a final question and final look. Based on everything, the judges select a winner.

40 contestants will be competing for the title on the 4th of May at Red Carpet Event Center in Victoria Island Lagos.
